Since the days of ancient Egypt, craftsmen have been using inlaid bone to decorate furniture surfaces, and for good reason: it embodies a natural sheen that adds instant luxury to any space. Handcrafted using the same centuries-old technique at Lakecity Handicrafts, this room-anchoring piece captures the essence of inlay work with a reiterative bone inlay design atop a cylindrical brass base.

Care and Cleaning Instructions

  • Regular Dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently dust the surface regularly.

  • Cleaning Spills: Wipe up spills immediately with a damp cloth. Avoid using excessive water.

  • Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use abrasive cleaners, chemicals, or solvents. These can damage the bone inlay and the finish.

  • Use Coasters and Mats: Protect the surface from hot items, scratches, and stains by using coasters, place mats, and trivets.

  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Keep the table out of direct sunlight to prevent fading and discolouration.

  • Polishing: Occasionally, you can use a mild furniture polish to enhance the shine, but ensure it's suitable for bone inlay furniture.

What are the Differences Between Bone Inlay Furniture and mother-of-pearl inlay Furniture?

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
